Benristraps 25m Polypropylene Webbing is UK-made polypropylene webbing which is 25mm (1") wide and ten metres (32 feet) long. It is available in a choice of colours. This webbing is often used to make webbing straps, bag handles, pet accessories, and as a binding tape. This webbing is made with a traditional or ladder weave which gives a soft and flexible webbing with a smooth finish and feel, whilst retaining its high strength properties, ideal for dog leads, collars, and webbing straps in particular. This webbing can be cut with a knife or scissors although the cut end should be sealed with a hot knife or flame to prevent the webbing from unravelling. Colours available include black, white, grey, red, orange, yellow, olive green, emerald, blue, navy blue pink, purple, beige and rainbow colours.
It is highly resistant to chemicals, has a high tensile strength, good resistance to abrasion, and is not affected by moisture. Benristraps 25mm Polypropylene Webbing is lighter than water and will float. Whilst it is not suitable for high temperature uses, it retains its flexibility down to -70oC. Polypropylene is inert to most common chemicals.
